Let’s see what’s happened lately in Weinland Park. Grant Street is opened between Fifth and 11th.  It’s quite pleasant for bicycle riding since it appears that no one realizes it’s open yet or maybe it’s not? Your local blogger is also wondering whether some public art can replace the yellow signs in the roundabout.

The very handsome award winning Habitat houses on North Fifth Street. Four more of these scattered through the neighborhood.

Rehabbed houses on North Fifth, ready for occupancy. The house on the left is a double that has been converted to single occupancy thereby solving two problems at once; all the rental stock and houses with three bedrooms or less. Four rehabs done, four about to start, and 32 yet to go.

Low income tax credit housing on North Sixth. Matching market rate housing goes behind it on the Columbus Coated Fabric Site.
